FIRM OVERVIEW

Finazzo Cossolini O'Leary Meola & Hager, LLC ("FCOMH") is an eight attorney law firm with offices in Morristown, New Jersey and Manhattan. Our primary area of practice involves the representation of insurers in complex coverage and recovery actions. Within this broader practice area, the firm has extensive experience and expertise in the representation of first party and third party insurers in coverage disputes, including innumerable matters in which issues related to fraud and extracontractual liability have arisen. We also represent financial services companies in complex commercial and consumer class action cases.

Technically, the firm may be considered a "new" venture in that it began operations in September, 2008. However, the practice in which FCOMH is engaged has a much longer, well established history. All of the firm's senior lawyers were previously employed at Budd Larner, P.C., where they comprised what was referred to as the "Insurance Group." FCOMH's most senior members, Christopher Finazzo and Robert Cossolini, were co-chairs of that department, and each had more than twenty-three years of experience at Budd Larner in the representation of insurers. Indeed, Chris' experience in the field goes beyond his tenure at Budd Larner, extending back to 1979 when he started practicing law at Porzio Bromberg & Newman. FCOMH's other members - Robert Meola, Rachel Hager and Jeremiah O'Leary - were also shareholders in Budd Larner's Insurance Group. Together, they have more than forty years of experience in litigating a wide array of complex insurance coverage, subrogation and commercial matters.

Over the years, we have represented many Fortune 500 companies in variety of litigated matters, including Liberty Mutual, FM Global and the Travelers. Several of the attorneys in the firm are also well recognized as members of what may be considered to be the national insurance bar. This recognition derives in large part from our representation of clients in complex insurance coverage matters in jurisdictions extending from California to New York. Having represented our clients in state or federal courts in at least 14 jurisdictions, we view our practice as being national in scope. Nonetheless, we believe that we present a particularly attractive alternative for clients seeking representation in New Jersey or New York because of our experience in those jurisdictions and our competitive fee structure.

The firm also has an extensive subrogation, class action, financial services, business and commercial litigation and personal injury practice.
