Finazzo Cossolini prevails in the Sixth Circuit in a case involving asbestos bodily insurance claims for tens of millions of dollars by Bondex International, Inc. against several of its insurers

In Bondex International, Inc. vs. Hartford Accident and Indemnity Co., et al., 667 F.3d 669 (6th Cir. 2011), the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed the trial court’s grant of summary judgment to the insurers holding that the insurers’ policies were exhausted and that the insured’s demand for more than $125 million in additional coverage for asbestos liability claims were subject to the aggregate limits of liability in the insurer’s policies, all of which were exhausted.
