Jonathan Zagha is a member of the firm and has handled a wide array of complex commercial litigation for corporate and governmental clients throughout his career. The bulk of Jonathan’s current practice involves representing multinational first-party property insurers and reinsurers seeking practical legal assistance in both the coverage analyses and litigation contexts. This includes providing sound advice, reasoned analysis, and zealous advocacy to clients on a broad range of insurance coverage issues, such as application of various policy exclusions, time element/business interruption claims, coverage for “Delay in Opening” losses, and builder’s risk insurance. He has successfully litigated matters involving more unique issues that arise in the insurance field, such as claims involving material misrepresentation, fraud, and products liability. Jonathan also has a broad range of experience relating to the investigation and prosecution of subrogation claims on behalf of first-party insurers and their insureds. His representations include appearing for arbitration proceedings before the American Arbitration Association and JAMS. In recognition of his accomplishments, Jonathan has been selected as a “Rising Star” by the Super Lawyers rating service for New Jersey (2011-2012) and New York (2014-2015).

Jonathan is currently licensed by the state bars of New Jersey and New York, and by the federal jurisdictions of the District of New Jersey, Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York, and Northern District of New York. Jonathan is a 2005 graduate of Fordham University School of Law, where he was a member of the Urban Law Journal and Criminal Defense Clinic. He completed his undergraduate studies at Brandeis University (2002) with a major in Economics and minor in International Business.
