Overview
Brandon Sipple has shepherded the world’s leading insurance underwriters though some the most significant loss events of the 21st century. A trusted and steadfast advisor and advocate, Brandon specializes in assisting insurers with their toughest cases, including those involving enterprise-level exposure and complexity, and loss events involving substantial accumulated risk.
In the first party area, Brandon has assisted clients with claims and claims-related litigation across a broad spectrum, including virtually every major catastrophe event over the last two decades. He has handled matters involving large-scale wildfire and mudslide claims, civil unrest claims, builders risk claims, a variety of ocean and inland marine matters, and complex business interruption and time element claims, including aggregate strategic oversight of hundreds of claims stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic. Brandon’s niche expertise also extends to claims and litigation involving fine art and valuable articles, rare and high value automobiles, and major entertainment productions.
Brandon’s broad-based experience also extends to third party matters, including complex casualty and environmental cases, workers compensation and employers liability claims, and financial matters involving complex and high-exposure D&O, E&O, professional liability, and cyber claims.
Brandon presents frequently on insurance law topics and is an active member of a number of industry and legal associations, including Loss Executives Association, Defense Research Institute, British Insurance Law Association, and American Bar Association. He also serves as a volunteer attorney for Legal Services of Northwest Jersey, where he handles pro bono matters for the housing and expungement projects.
Outside the office, Brandon serves on the Board of Directors, and as Chair of the Insurance Committee, of the Pennsylvania Theta Housing Corporation of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity, as well as on the Board of Directors of the New York City chapter of Young Catholic Professionals. In 2019, he was invested as a Knight of Magistral Grace in the Sovereign Order of St. John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes, and of Malta.
